Practice Makes Perfect is not just a saying.
I am currently doing my degree in mechanical engineering in UNITEN. I am chinese educated therfore language is not a problem as i speak 4 languages.
I have been teaching tuition in groups and private since 15 years old,teaching mainly primary children and kindergarten children.
I started teaching secondary level when i was 19 years old and my students consist mostly of form 3 students. I can say that all my form 3 students scored As in their maths and science, 8 out of 11 scored A in history and 10 out of 11 scored A for Geography.
My concept is more on practice makes perfect. I used to be a student once and much regret that i did not have enough practice in my schooling years. I still implicate this method and my students score well. I also do not believe in spoon feeding.
